E-MOTO URBAN ASSAULT

The Track Is Now Everywhere.

This design pretty much captures why we've fallen in love with lightweight e-motos.

Here in North Park, San Diego, some of our best rides start by simply rolling the bikes out the front door. No trailer. No loading the truck. No gas. Just helmets on, bikes on, and go.

We'll cruise over toward Morley Field with the kids and friends, bring along our MTB jump ramps, find a good patch of dirt and spend an afternoon practicing little booters, wheelies and new skills. Half the fun is getting there — once you're on an e-moto, every little transition, dirt bank and interesting feature along the way starts looking like something worth sessioning.

The track really is everywhere.

That's what makes these bikes so damn fun. They're light, incredibly quick, playful and capable enough to turn an ordinary neighborhood ride into an adventure — while being quiet enough that we're not roaring through the neighborhood annoying everyone around us.

Then we take the same bikes up to our 5-acre adventure ranch near Bass Lake, California, where I grew up just south of Yosemite, and the playground gets even bigger. Dirt trails, jumps, little technical lines and whatever new features we decide to build become our own family e-moto skills park.

Best of all, it's something I get to share with my kids and riding buddies.

That's the inspiration behind E-Moto Urban Assault. It's not really about attacking the city. It's about looking at the world differently once you're riding one of these ridiculously fun little machines.

A park becomes a jump session.
A dirt bank becomes a line.
A trip across the neighborhood becomes a ride.
