E-MOTO URBAN ASSAULT

This design pretty much sums up why I fell in love with lightweight electric motos.

Living in North Park, San Diego, I can roll an E Ride Pro right out my front door, cruise over to the park and session our MTB Hopper ramps, practice wheelies and mess around on little urban features—all without loading up a truck and hauling a full-size dirt bike somewhere to ride.

That's the magic of these things.

They're light, fast, ridiculously capable and quiet enough that you can go have a kick-ass riding session without announcing it to the entire neighborhood.

And when we head up to our family's 5-acre adventure property near Bass Lake, just south of Yosemite where I grew up, the same bikes become something completely different. We've been building our own little e-moto skills track where we can jump, wheelie, work on technique and chase each other around the property.

No roaring engines. No exhaust. No trailer required.

Just grab a helmet, turn the bike on and go ride.

The E Ride Pro and little RAWRR motos have made riding more accessible for our whole family—and they've completely changed the way I look at terrain. A dirt lot becomes a skills park. A little transition becomes a jump. A neighborhood ride becomes an adventure.
