This design started with an actual ride.

I shot the original photo out at McCain Valley, just east of San Diego, using a GoPro on a tripod while exploring one of my favorite places to ride—miles of tight, technical singletrack, natural rock slabs, boulder lines and endless little features that turn the desert into one giant playground.

That's what I love about e-motos. They're light, capable, ridiculously fun and quiet enough that the experience is about exploring the terrain—not making a bunch of noise.

And now the stoke has gotten even better.

My 8-year-old son Kyler rides with me on his RAWRR Mantis Mini, and he's progressed to the point where he can ride probably 90% of the technical singletrack with me. Watching an 8-year-old pick his way through rocks, climb technical sections and follow Dad through miles of trail is pretty damn special.

That's the idea behind Swift & Silent E-Moto Club.

These bikes are changing what a family ride can look like. A little neighborhood connector, desert singletrack, rock slab or forgotten trail can suddenly become part of the adventure.
